A reporter and a photojournalist go after the truth behind the urban myth known as the Batman. But when Mob Heavy Jack Napier
is set up by Boss Carl Grissom. Jack faces the Batman and is dropped in a vat of chemicals after be shot through the checks.
The plastic surgeon gives him a perminet smile and drives him insane. Now calling himself the Joker, he kills Boss Grissom
and takes over his gang. The Joker goes on a killing spree in the hopes to destroy the Batman.
Aa clever use of story, exciting plot and great effects. Wonderful performances. I was just sore at a few points, the changes
to the Joker's origin, Jack Nickleson is a great actor and does a great job but he wasn't really right for the part of Jack
I GIVE IT (7 STARS)
ON THE POSITVE SIDE (+ HITS)
+GREAT ACTING (Allot Of Good Acting went into this movie)
+EFFECTS (Steller Effects)
+MICHAEL KEATON & JACK NICKSON (They worked great together even if Jack's face is a little wide for the Joker)
+DARK HUMOR (Allot of dark humor that was funny
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)
-CHANGES (I didn't like some Tim Burton's changes, Batman was a little too eager to kill. If Tim Bothered to Read the Comic
books he would know Batman will not kill even the man who killed his Parents. Plus the gunshot through the face was wrong.
Joker can frown when he wants to. He doesn't have a perminet smile on his face)
-VIKKI VALE LEARNS IDENTITY (Vikki Vale never learned Bruce Wayne and Batman was the same)
