Directed by
Jack Hill
Stephanie Rothman

Starring:
William Campbell

Not Rated
Genre: Horror
Format Used: My Own DVD
Contains: Graphic Violence
AKA:
Blood Bath

THE PLOT:

A tale of a 300 year old vampire stalking beatnick abstrate artist in a beach community. Dipping his victims in wax so they will not come back as vampires. He will not rest until he finds his late wife.

But has is wife been reincarnated as one of the hype young beatniks that hang out at the beach?

THE OPINION:

What a piece of crap. Beatnicks vs. The Vampire. As annoying as these beatniks are I was almost routing for the vampire. But seeing Willaim Campbell (Star Trek TOS episodes: THE BARON OF GATHOS AND TROUBLE WITH TRIBBLES) was a nice touch. But his steller acting was not enough to save this piece of dung.
I GIVE IT (THE NOOSE)

autoscaled30pc-knot-hangmans-noose-black-backdrop-

ON THE POSITVE SIDE (+ HITS)

+ WILLIAM CAMPBELL (A good actor in a crappy film)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)

- BAD VAMPIRE EFFECTS (Lamest vampire ever)
- BEATNIKS AS HEROES (Annoying heroes make me want to route for the villain)
- VAMPIRE LEGEND (You don't just become a vampire because you were burned at the stake or hanged. You have to be bitten by a vampire)

...AND FINALLY...

- EVERYTHING ELSE (The whole feeling stinks)
