THE PLOT:
Rita Repulsa has been overthrown when the evil Lord Zedd arrives on the moon. He returns Rita to the dumpster and propells
it into deep space. Now Zedd has set his sights on the Power Rangers and has more powerful monsters and stronger Putties.
It's up to the Rangers to get new powers and more Powerful Zords in order to save Angel Groove from this madman.
THE OPINION:
I was surely disappointed with the top half of the second season. They earmarked allot of money for this season for "MIGHTY
MORPHIN POWER RANGERS THE MOVIE". What did they spend it on, expensive Ranger costumes that they never used again and
disappointing CGI Megazord effects. When Dairangers (which the season was based) had new costumes and even baddies. Since
they didn't change the costume the monster just stood around and watched while the Rangers fought Puddies. Until they grew.
The way this season started I am surprised the show didn't die here.
I GIVE IT (6 STARS)
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS)
+ COOL MONSTERS (The designs of the monsters were sometimes strange but cool)
+ LORD ZEDD (Lord Zedd is still one of the best baddies in Power Rangers)
+ ZORDS (I love these Megazords)
+ NEW MONSTERS (I do like the new object monsters in this season)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)
- CHEAP (They kept the old Zyuranger design costumes, plus all the monster did was stang around before it gorws)
- REPEDITIVE (Allot of epiodes ended the same way)
AND FIANLLY...
- FAN BASED (If you didn't like season 1 then you will not like season 2)
