Giant Monster Gamera, The
THE PLOT:
An atomic bomb test reawakens a massive turtle from within a glather. This giant prehistoric turntle is named Gamera. Gamera
is determined to feed and what Gamera eats is fire which is bad news for the human race and it seems that no man made weapon
can stop the unstoppable monster. But there is a sign of good, for as he destoryed a light house, he saves the life of a
small boy who has turtles on the brain.
THE OPINION:
I was alittle disappointed with this one, I liked the later Gamera movies in which Gamera is the hero. But this is a classic
and no Gamera collection is complete without it.
I GIVE IT (7 STARS)

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS)
+ GAMERA (I just love that giant fire breathing turtle)
+ EFFECTS (I think the effects were good for a 60's movie)
+ A SIGN OF GOOD (Gamera rescuing that small boy should there was good in him and even then he was the friend to all the
children)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)
- KIND OF CHEESEY (The dubbing and some of the story is kind of cheesey)
- EVIL GAMERA (I like my giant monsters to be the good guys)
- FAN BASED (If you're not a fan of giant monster movies, then Gamera is not for you)
