THE PLOT:
A group of friends plan a fun filled weekend at an old cabin, but what they are unaware of is the old abandoned cabin is infested
with flies, but not ordinary flies, the kind of flies you can get rid of with a couple of cans of Raid and some sticky strips,
these are intellegent mutant flies (well more intellegent then these people anyway) that escaped from a lab not that far away.
Now the college students are surcoming to the monstrous flies that dig into the skin and make it a flie nest, which kills
the host and the flies walk around in the human skin, making a kind of zombie out of them, all because these vampire flies
can't stand sun light. So the survivors try to survive until dawn.
SPOILER WARNING: STOP READING.
At the end, the last survivor, Amy Jo Johnson gets the flies in one area and blows them the hell up, and that was the
end of the smart flies, right? WRONG!! She reaches the town church only to find the Priest is a fly zombie and she was next.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This has got to be the dumbest movie of 2002 and that's saying something. Because there was allot of dumb movies in 2002.
But this crapper takes the freakin' cake. How dumb do you have to be to lose to a bunch of flies, I mean it. The characters
were as sharp as a pile of wet clay. Don't bother renting, watching this piece of dung.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on this, INFESTED should be thrown into the nearest bug zapper. A good cast wasted on this piece of crap.
One, what was the purpose of making killer flies? They never explained that, they said that the flies were created at a
nearby lab and they escape. But labs don't make killer flies just for the fun and where were the lab searching for the flies,
I'm sure they cost millions of dollars to create and what, they threw up their arms and said "OH WELL!". Two, they
had been a better way to kill the flies without blowing up the house. Flies don't work on the hive mind, it's the survival
of the smartest. Don't waste your time or your money.

+CAST (A good cast, wasted on this low-budget loser)
+CONCEPT (An interesting concept, killer flies that make the dead walk)
+EFFECTS (There are some killer effects)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
-DUMB HUMANS (I can't stand it when so called students are dumber then flies)
-PURPOSE (What was the main objective of the monster flies)
-LAB (Making killer flies cost major cash, where was the lab trying to save their investment, millions of dollars fly
away, you just don't go SAY LAGAR and move on to the next experiment, if that happened, SHORT CIRCUIT wouldn't have had a
plot)
