THE PLOT:

Dr. Paul Holliston is a dedicated scientist trying to grow a person from DNA, this embryo if successful become a living breathing human. But first he test his proscess with a dog, which seemed to go off without any undo side effects. However when the dog leaves it attacks and kills a smaller dog.

Not knowing this, Paul continues to the next phase of the experiment. A human child, which grows rapidly to a full grown, I mean very full grown hottie which he names Victoria. But the aging doesn't seem to stabilize and her her mind seems to going off balance as well. Is this doomed to fail?

ZEDD'S OPINION:

Okay, the one question that comes to mind when I think back to this movie is why? What would be the purpose of growing a woman from embryo to adulthood? They spend allot of time talking about the science of how it embryo becomes full grown and kept talking about the rapid age issue. But it just had dragged on, I wish they focused more on her growing insanity and less on the age issue. But what can you do. The performances in this were great, a great cast and they ain't shy about nudity. The effects what there were of them was impressive. But the whole movie plays out more like a science reel in school and less like a science fiction monster movie. I give it 6 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:

I agree about the dragginess of it, it droned on like a Proffessor lecuring on the subject. So I lost interest in it very quickly. But I also agree about the acting. So I give it...4 STARS

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):

+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects are pretty cool.)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):

- SLOW (It really is slow paced, to the point of boredom)
- WHAT WAS THE OBJECTIVE (What was the objective of the experiment.)

...AND FINALLY...

- NOT FOR EVERYONE (If you aren't into mad scientist flicks, then this isn't the film for you.)
