THE PLOT:
The world is ruled by a ruthless Tyrant and a young man named Eragon finds out that he's just become an ancient and noble
warrior known as the Dragon Rider as a dragon egg literally appears before his very eyes.
But Galbatorix a former Dragon Rider doesn't want this to happen and sends his dark wizard to make sure that young Eragon
doesn't get any older.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
This is a very compelling story with compelling characters but somewhat predictable and the climax of the story is somewhat
of a let down without giving it away there needs to be a continuation or it will fall flat in the course of time. 9 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree, escpeically the part about the sequel. The story needs to go on and not be left hanging like it is. It's like canceling
a TV show at a cliff hanger season finale, it's just wrong. 9 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CHARACTERS (The characters work.)
+ EFFECTS (The effects are incredible.)
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The creature effects are cool.)
+ GOOD DRAGONS (Another movie with good dragons.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- PREDICTABLE (I got to admit it was a tad predictable, but that's totally a bad thing.)
- NO SEQUEL PLANNED (They leave it open and as of this date, no sequel. What's up with that?)
...AND FINALLY...
- NOT FOR EVERYONE (If you aren't into fantasy, good dragons or dragon movies in general, this isn't for you.)
