THE PLOT:
A place of erotic dance is really a place of evil and no in the way the typical moralist would lead you to believe. The owner
and several dancers are really vampires. There is a belief in the world of the vampire if you cut the throat of your victim
and take that first gush that you consume the victim's soul and consuming 10,000 souls will make one the most powerful vampire
of them all and Morella is out to be that vampire.
Just two things stand in her way, one of her vampires fell in love with a human and a tiny vampire hunter is out to kill
them for his father's disappearance.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
I think it there could have been more desistence to the decadent part of this movie, plenty of evil going around but speaking
as a guy I was slightly disappointed in some ways. But the story works, the cast works and the effects work, so it's a minor
complaint and give it 8 STARS
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd on this one, they could have been more erotic in this erotic horror but it's not too bad, Saban has done
better but they have done worse as well. With Charles Band the level of quality is going back to the way it was instead of
the losers they were making while he wasn't around. 8 STARS as well.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ EFFECTS (The effects are pretty good.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CAST (The cast does a great job.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- NOT ENOUGH (I think they could have done more in the erotic department.)
...AND FINALLY...
- SHORT (At a tad over an hour it's kind of short, they could have done more with the story.)
