THE PLOT:
Duane and Belial Baxter has survived their fight and end up in a hospital, prisoners for the murders they committed. But
they escape and end up at a home for the strange and odd. A sanctuary if you will for abnorms.
But Granny has enemies that would do things to the house to bring it down so Granny and Belial work together to try to
save their house by any means needed.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Now the twins arguing practically the whole movie does get annoying at times. But the effects are better and the cast does
a bang up job, the story works and it's even better then the first movie. 9 STARS all around.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree about the arguing, also there was some minor character issues I could have done without. But what's perfect. For
me Basket Case 2 is a 9 as well.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CREATURE EFFECTS (Even better then the first movie.)
+ STORY (The story works.)
+ CONTINUING (Not forgetting how the first movie ended considering ten years past in real time.)
+ CAST (The cast doesn't does a great job.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- FIGHTING (The fights between Duane and Belial got old fast. Considering you only heard half the argument.)
- CHARACTERS (There was some minor character issues that VOLTRON has issues with.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't a fan of the first movie, then this isn't for you.)
