An Ex-Surfer and his his sister are flat broke and forced to move into an aunt's guest house and is shocked to find his Aunt
is charging rent and that's still not the worst of it They get hooked up with a legendary ex-surfer and his tribe and the
reason why Shane dropped out of surfing is that he's a vampire, a vampire with his eye on Chris's little sister.
There are several things to like about this movie, characters isn't one of them. Except for Corey Feldman's Toad character,
he's always cool. But I really hated that Aunt character, I mean who charges family rent when they should know that they're
flat broke. Really, that's not that family do. But other then that and Chris acting like an over protective jerk this is
an okay movie, not as good as the classic movie but it's okay, 7 STARS.
I agree about the so called loving Aunt, no relative of mine would treat me like that if I need them, it's disgraceful and
Chris bordered on annoying at time. But Corey really helped the movie, it would have failed without him. 5 STARS.
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CAST (The cast does an amazing acting job.)
+ EFFECTS (Gory and cool, just like the first movie.)
+ CLASSIC MUSIC (One of the classic songs from the first movie.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CHARACTERS (The main hero isn't much of one and the Aunt is just mean.)
- FAN BASED (If you aren't one for the first movie, then this isn't for you.)
